International Bridge Corporation
The crossing connects Donna with Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas. Being located in a non-congested area of the border, the crossing allows for the fastest travel to and from Mexico.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning & Zoning Division is responsible for all planning, development and permitting activities in the City of Donna and among other things, providing information to the public on annexations, building permits, inspections, health, planning & zoning, economic and industrial development, code enforcement, land use violations, long range planning and overall city infrastructure development.

Building & Standards Commission
The Building & Standards Commission, a citizen-appointed board, ensures public health, safety, and welfare by addressing substandard structures, code compliance, and property maintenance within the city. It reviews cases of unsafe or deteriorated buildings, hears appeals on building code enforcement, and issues orders for repair, demolition, or securing hazardous structures. Operating under state law and city ordinances, the commission supports neighborhood standards and property values, serving as a vital link between residents, property owners, and municipal code enforcement efforts.
